Dr. Madelyn is a proud native St. Louisan. Educational background and achievements include: Two Master’s Degrees | Bachelor’s
Educated in Missouri, Dr. Johnson has dedicated her career to empowering individuals through digital literacy and community-based learning. Her work reflects a deep commitment to making technology accessible, understandable, and practical for everyday use.
She has worked across Connected Learning Centers and collaborated with numerous nonprofit and for-profit organizations throughout the St. Louis region. Through these roles, she has helped expand access to technology, develop training programs, and support learners from beginner to advanced levels.
Dr. Johnson specializes in teaching real-world digital skills, including Microsoft Office 365, smartphones and mobile devices, internet navigation, email communication, virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom, online safety practices, and the use of essential platforms such as Social Security and Medicare websites.
Her instructional approach is centered on patience, clarity, and encouragement. She creates a welcoming learning environment where seniors and community members feel comfortable asking questions, learning at their own pace, and gaining the confidence needed to navigate today’s digital world.
Through Small Flames Digital I.T. Solutions, Dr. Johnson continues to bridge the digital divide by providing meaningful, accessible training that strengthens independence, builds confidence, and opens doors to new opportunities for individuals of all ages.
